Kacey Montoya interviewed an Port of Portland official and found that the federal Transportation Security Administration intends to invest $60 million to improve the security of the airport.
Bill Wyatt,the Port's executive director declared that the new investments will make the airport more secure and will improve the comfort of the travelers at the international airport of Portland
Kacey Montoya says that the improvements are expected to be finished in 2010 and the authorities inend to move the baggage screening equipment out of the crowded airport,in a more private place.
Wyat said that the new system is expected to offer extra screening flexibility and enhance the security.
